Steelhead Fishing

Eastern Lake Ontario's Walleye fishing resource is nationally recognized as one of the top trophy walleye fisheries in North America.

In fact, the 1996 through 2007 editions of Infisherman's "Walleye Guide" currently list Lake Ontario among North America's top 20 destinations for trophy Walleye.

At the 1994 North America Walleye Anglers (NAWA) Championship at Henderson Harbor, NY, Rick Olson bested a field of 41 professional walleye anglers with a three-day, eight fish catch of 65.88 lbs. for an incredible average of 8.24 lbs. per walleye.

On September 5, 1998, walleye guide Capt. Bob Jordan and P.W.T. walleye tournament pro Todd Frank won the Team Walleye New York State Championship with a 5 fish limit of 42.93 lbs.; the largest five fish one-day catch in New York Team Walleye history!!! The catch averaged an astounding 8.59 lbs. per walleye.

Our actual charter records for 1997 through 2006 indicate an average weight of 8 lbs. each and our Trophy walleye range in size from 10-13 lbs. But... larger fish are always a possibility!
